Statesmen Park Tailgating 

Tailgating in Statesmen Park has become a Pig Pickin’ tradition. Anyone and everyone is invited to set up a tent and hang out. While you’re in the park, enjoy the live entertainment on the main stage, participate in a pep rally with the Delta State cheerleaders and marching band, and grab a treat from one of the food vendors. And don’t forget to stop by the Alumni Association tent to purchase a BBQ plate and pick up some Delta State swag!

Spaces in the Open Tailgating area are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No need to register, just show up with your tent and chairs! If you plan to tailgate as a campus or student organization, please fill out the tailgating reservation form to register with the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs.
